Topic : Expression of Regreting and Asking Plan
A. Standard Competence
Expressing the meaning of transactional and interpersonal dialogue
formally and sustained in daily life contexts.
B. Basic Competence
Expressing the meaning of transactional and interpersonal dialogue formally and sustained accurately, fluently and acceptable by using various oral language in daily life context and involving the expression of regreting and asking plan.
C. Indicators
Expressing regreting and asking plan
Making the dialogue using expression of regreting and asking plan.
Performing the dialogue using expression of regreting and asking plan.
D. Objectives
In the end of this lesson:
Students are able to express regreting and asking plan
Students are able to make a dialogue using expression of regreting and asking plan
Students are able to demonstrate the dialogue using expression of regreting and asking

Pre activities (15 minutes)

Whilst Activities (65 minutes)

- Read again the dialogue sentence by sentence and - Repeat
Ask the students to repeat it
- Make clear if there are some difficult words or new words
As anticipation of difficulty

- Divide the students become 2 group. One group as
Joe and one group as Sinta
- Ask the students to practice the dialogue - Practice
- Ask 5 students to do the conversation with the teacher

Example of Dialogue:
Sinta : Hi Joe, i heard that you went out with Mandy yesterday. Ann
cried all night, have you heard about it?
Joe : I am deeply regretful. I’ve made my girl cry. I only drove Mandy
home. Ann wouldn’t to see me i think.
Sinta : You should meet your girlfriend soon. There is still more
chances. Anyway, what are you going to do then?
Joe : I’m going to see her today and i’ve got particular plan maybe she
will understand and forgive me.
Sinta : I think so. Good luck friend!
Joe : Thanks Sin.
I. Evaluation
- Technique : perform in pairs
- Form : Students make the dialogue in pairs by using
expression of regreting and asking plan. Then perform in
front of the class.
- Instrument : Any possible answer ( students’ creativity )
- Scoring system:
a. Grammar : 20%
b. Pronunciation : 20%
c. Fluency : 20%
d. Accuracy : 20%
e. Performance/ expression: 20%
= 100%( maximum score)
