Television becomes one of the most important devices which takes place in almost houses. It can unite all members of the family as well as separate them.
However , is it important to know what your kids are watching ?
The answer is of course absolutely ‘ yes ‘ and that should be done by by all parents. Television can expose things , you have tried to protect the children from , especially violence , pornography , consumerism and soon.
Recently , a study demonstrated that spending too much time on watching TV during the day or at bedtime , often cause bedtime discrouption , stress and short sleep duration.
Another research found that there is a significant relationship between the amount of time spent for watching television during adolescence and early adulthood and the possibility of being aggressive.
Meanwhile , many students have identified a relationship between kids who watch TV a lot and being inactive and overweight.
Considering some facts mentioning above , protect your children with the following tips :
1. Limit television viewing to one – two hours each day
2. Do not allow your children to have a TV set in their our bedrooms
3. Review the rating TV show which your children watch
4. Watch television with your children and discuss what is happening in the show

What a crazy world
Even when all is going well , being a teenager isn’t easy.Your body starts going through the profound changes of puberty. Powerful chemicals called hormones begin rushing through you , making you feel crazy and restless. New kids of thoughts creep into your mind , and you begin questioning the values of those around you , the meaning of life and your place in the world. You want to be like and loved for who you are , and feel good.
But everything isn’t going well in our world , so it’s even harder to grow up. Poverty , drug abuse and all kinds of crime are ever present. We are bombarded daily with bad news about war , disease , violence , and environmental destruction. Teenagers in school break into cliques and gangs , groups that are often nasty to those who ‘ don’t fit in ‘.
In the short , our world is a crazy place in which to be a teenager. It is natural to feel crazy in it.
